The “Fundo de Vila farm” has approximately 15,000m2 and is located in a quiet and idyllic area. It is in the river “Vouga” valley and is composed of old cow houses, a corn crib and a straw loft, as well as the main house. There is also a wine press and an individual wine cellar. All these facilities are in granite and were very recently recovered. The granite and wood of the region are the main raw materials of some of the ceilings and walls. You will enjoy the pleasant and covered swimming pool as well as a Jacuzzi with hydro-massage and a barbecue. The farm is located in a typical Portuguese village, quiet and with a small population, where subsistence farming gives the motto to a pleasant stay.

In the region you will be able experience the very rich gastronomy of the region, with specialities such as the veal “Lafões” way (roasted in wood-oven), the piglet “à Bairrada” or pig “rojões”, river fish and corn bread, among other delicacies of the region. Do not forget to try and taste the wine of the region, produced by local farmers! About 20 miles away you can visit the famous thermal baths of “S. Pedro do Sul”, going through “Oliveira de Frades” and “Vouzela”.
