Hotel Enkelana is a modern and comfortable 6 story hotel overlooking Lake Ohrid in the heart of Pogradec city.
Remodeled in 2002 the hotel has 60 rooms which consist of 14 singles, 34 doubles, 6 triples and 6 suites/apartments) with comfortable beds, balconies, colour TV, toilets, showers and tubs with hot water, heaters and full bar and restaurant with verandas. There is a meeting room (for up to 10 persons) and a conference hall which can seat up to 150.
The kitchen offers traditional Pogradec specialities, including the famous Lake Ohrid ‘koran’ trout which is a delicacy when grilled or baked in terra cotta casseroles and served with fried potatoes, salads, eggplant dishes, yoghurt dishes and excellent local wines and raki. A full range of meat specialties is also available. The pastry shop on the terrace is well known for its ice creams and desserts.
There is an elevator lift service to all floors above lake-level, secure parking and taxi service. Tourist guides and interpreters are available to assist your journey or arrange visits to archaeological and historical sites as well as nature and village excursions around the region.
