Dear JosephThank you very much indeed for your reply. I have done what you told me and got to the photo tab on My TrekShare Photo Page. Seeing all my uploaded pictures, I cannot find any tab or spot that allows me to upload my new photos. It seems like something is missing. With love to you and TrekShare.Chai

Returning Home in Trekshare!
14-Mar-2005
I feel sorry that I'd left my home in ThekShare for ages. When coming back I was so happy to see that my site's still there and awaiting me to write a new traveloque. It's not been deleted! Thanks a lot! Thank all friends and especially Joseph.

Undoubtedly since the economic collapse in 1997 I've never got a chance to travel abroad. Being suffered severely I struggled hard to survive. That made me so tired and bored. Today I really need a GETAWAY! Escaping from what I have been doing in Lampang so far! Escaping from the trap!

Well... I think I'd better fetch my backpack and start preparing for a trip to Singapore.

So sorry for a-whole-year silence since my last post. I am still alive HAHA! And I am glad to see my home in TrekShare again.

I hope that as from now I would be able update my homepage and regularly visit this wonderful site.

Nearly 7 P.M....it is still raining! Trees are happy.

It's raining!

Today the sky is cloudy. I really love the rainy season in Thailand. Birds are singing there on the trees in the back yard of my small hostel. Traffic along the Lampang - Chiang Mai Highway is light at the moment. I enjoy this cool morning.

Yesterday I drove to Chiang Mai and visited the Amity Hotel where I used to work as a pianist. It was very quiet. Also at the night bazaar!

"Indeed I am sorry for my silence for ages. My life seems to be very hard after the economic downturn. I must struggle hard to survive. But nevertheless I am still alive and enjoy running the English Pub with the backpacker hostel in Lampang.

It is raining now. I miss the TrekShare a great deal. Hopefully I would be able to visit this wonderful site regularly .... again.

Hey Chai
01-May-2002
I noticed your post on the mainpage of Unum and I wanted to comment on your inquiry. TrekShare has created the technology which unum1 and elnativo use on their sites. The pages are slightly different but the content is aggregated and the licensees are able to determine what they want to feature. For example elnativo is directed more towards rotary exchange students and unum1 was supposed to be more of a non-for-profit charity site. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me. Safe Travels....

Re: Yangoon pics

Hi falonp Thank you very much indeed for your message. I am so happy to learn that you liked my yangoon pics. These pictures were taken in 1983. That was after the communist came to power. (The British granted independence to Burma in 1947 and Ne Win a radical communist isolated the country and declared the military government in 1962.) Having only one week to see the country I had to do a quick trip. In fact I really enjoyed the country and unspoiled scenery but was not happy with strict rules used by the government to control the flow of tourists and money in black markets. On the way back to Yangoon at the railway station I met an old Christian woman who persuaded me to visit her place and meet her niece. She said to me that My niece is beautiful. You can marry her but you must take her to live in Thailand for good. Today I still feel sorry that I did not accept that. HAHA!I know that you visited Thailand Malaysia and Indonesia in 1999. How about Burma and Laos?Chai

Hi Chai I really liked your pics of Rangoon. Was this all before the communist or current represive regime came to power?

What time is it in Thailand?
18-Mar-2002
Thank you for your kind words. I hope I can make it to Thailand one day seems like a richly fascinating country. It's 9 o' clock in the morning and I am reading the world news which can be depressing at times. There is a summit for the poor taking place in Monterrey Mexico .. i hope the rich nations can get their act together!!

Happy Valentine's Day to all friends!
14-Feb-2002
Hello all friends in unum1.com. On this special day I have such a good time visiting the elephant camp and joining the wedding ceremony on the elephant's back. I would like to show you some pics of the colorful parade. How you like them? If having a chance to visit Thailand please come to Lampang and I will take you to this elephant camp.

Sorry if English in my traveloque is imperfect.
