Arriving in Cancun
Airport: There is a no-commission exchange booth (AmEX, I think) right by the luggage carrousels (sp?) that gives excellent exchange rates. Travelers might want to just bring some US cash with them, exchange it, and |

Hotel from Hell in Cozumel |

Cozumel ? Hotel del Centro
It was getting dark fast by the time we arrived. Only dusk when the ferry docked, but by the time we got our luggage and walked the five blocks to our hotel, it was pitch black. Sidewalks not good for roller-luggage - you |

Cozumel ? Around town
All the sidewalk restaurants look the same, but we found one where the food AND service was much better than any of the others - can't remember the street names, but it's right on the corner of the main plaza, across from Cafe Europa. It's called Casablanca. |

Valladolid

Cancun
We ended up taking a 2nd class bus to Cancun since we missed the one the tourist office told us about. The bus was very clean and air-conditioned. Only difference from the 1st class was no TV (more than fine with me) and a longer route - but I |
