2/3/03 -- Testing...
This is a test of the Trekshare travelogue web-publishing medium. Please do not be alarmed. This is only a test.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

This is a test of the Trekshare travelogue web-publishing medium. If this had been a real travelogue, the above symbolic representation of an annoying audio tone would instead have been replaced by

2/10/03 -- Thoughts, one week beforehand
OK, so here's my first attempt at writing something real in this online diary/travelogue system.

To start with, I can now say that in retrospect, cancelling my December LSAT was probably a smart move. I took the test again this morning, and I felt much more comfortable coming out of it. Part

2/16/03 And the countdown begins...
Life has been pretty full for the last few days. Last Tuesday night, my roommates threw a goodbye party and fun was had by all. A few selected pictures are on this site. Aaron and David -- I was going to post the photo of you guys, but then I

2/18/03 And Blizzard makes disaster
This is how it was supposed to happen:

Feb 16: Go to the wedding.
Feb 17: See my sister's concert
Feb 18: Fly to LA in morning & fly from LA to Auckland at night.

A few hours before the wedding, I get a call from DC...it seems that the entire area

2/19/03 Staying awake in LA
My ATA flight left Chicago on time.

Chicago had no snow whatsoever. It was amazing. All the flights from 8:00A on were completely booked solid as a result of northeasterners trying to get through on the first flight out. But the 6:45A was so empty that everybody on the airplane had an

2/21/03 Adjusting to NZ

2/22/03 Shabbat in Auckland

2/26/03 I think I may need a new pair of legs
OK, I suspect that by tomorrow morning my legs are going to feel like they are going to fall off. Auckland isn't exactly a city meant for walking, but that was how I got around there. So after that incredibly hilly place, my legs were already a little sore. But, I

2/23/03 Longs walks in a city not meant for walking
So, I wanted to see Auckland.

The problem is that Auckland doesn't have much to see.

Don't get me wrong; it's a great city with incredibly friendly people, a nice temperate climate, and a laid back atmosphere, but there's not much for a tourist to do while trying to be a tourist. B7
