Tuesday 12th January.
Got up early today and spent the whole day going between the myanmar embassy and the travel agent trying to get a visa and a cheap flight tomorrow (Wednesday) to Yangon(Rangoon).
Our luck paid off and unlike many others who didn't arrive early we got everything with no hassle |

Ok so our plans changed slightly from visiting the north of Thailand to going for something a bit more challenging and deciding on Myanmar.
After the usual hassle finding the cheapest flights possible we succeeded and arrived in yangon (rangoon) an hour and a half after leaving Thailand.

We were delayed,surprise surprise, because the clutch was basically knackered and we had to stop several times to let some very young 12,13, year old mechanics have a look. They attempted to sort it out and we arrived 9 hours later which is roughly 20km an hour.
