This afternoon as I was wandering around Haikou it occured to me that it has been a very very long time since I'd read your travelogues. When I logged onto the site I saw that this was because you hadn't posted any new travelogues for most of a year. How is Chengdu treating you?

To keep everyone informed I am going back to the US for a visit at the beginning of August before settling in to my teaching. I do have more travelogues written just having the old problem of finding a place to upload them. It may have to wait until I get back to the US but they will be uploaded.

Not Messed Up

Trekshare is not messed up. It is all my fault I jumped the gun and told you it was ready when I had not uploaded everything. I am in Kuala Lumpur right now headed back to Thailand. I am looking at returning to Chengdu to go to Tibet then Nepal and down to India.

Hi OmnisRex Man this web site is messed up. I thought I just posted a message to you and it did not appear on the list of posted messages. So this is my second attempt.My previous message explained: 1 - TrekShare is not easy to navigate and locate your pages 2 - TS does not list all your entries on one page going to March 2003 3 - TS list of your entries does not list their respective dates.What happened to your May 2003 entries? Can you add a postscript to your entries indicating where you think you may be going over the next month or so. This suggestion is intended to overcome the messed TS pages.Lucky you got of China before the SARS infection was publicized. Some guys have mentioned that their colleagues returning from a visit to the Far East or Toronto were told by their office to stay away from the office for at least a week for fear of infection.Keep on mowing.Green GrasserJune 2 2003

Sorry this took so long!

If you requested cities they will be added today. That is unless it's a smaller city or park I couldn't locate. If you generally know the location it helps.

Ex. Chaing Rai (N of Chaing Mai) or (northern thailand). I had a couple of problems finding places like Airlie Beach and even Surfers Paradise (I eventually narrowed down the location and it has been added).

Tonight I'm selling my computer and using the money to fund the TrekTV Thailand trip. If there are any other places you want me to add speak up. If not in today they will be saved and entered in early June. Just in time for summer vacation.

"Yikes!!! I think you have recorded more travelogues than any member in the history of trekshare. Eventually there might be a issue with how many travelogues can be entered for one trip. We do this for formatting reasons. If you start a part 2 to your travelogue you shouldn't run into any issues. Regardless everything looks great and if you have any issues please let me know.

I will be in Thailand on Jan 23 Cambodia on Jan 26 and back in Thailand on Feb 4. I will probably stay in Thailaind until March 1 before heading to Bali and Australia for March New Zealand in April Fiji in May and Singapore in June.

I've got my travelogue as a mailing list on yahoogroups instead of on a website. That way people can read about what I am doing in their email. And they can respond to me without signing in.

Hi there. No we haven't met. I am just a member that really enjoys reading travel stories and viewing photos & has a lot of down time at work :)

Occasionally I'll drop a line when I see a nice site because I think it is nice to know that people other than friends and family view the sites.
