Istanbul -- how to spend SUNNY days?

On our fourth day in Istanbul the sun came out and we got ROBBED.

We've resorted to self-catering, as a way to save some money and also recover from the Armenia fiasco and for some variety to kebab. This comes also after a walk around supermarkets and finding all variety of foods, the most we have seen since we left home four months ago...

However, to get inside the Haghia Sophia -- most beautiful building interior in the world -- costs us five meals. Then there is the Topkapi palace, and a hosts of other must-see museums. Each would cost at least 2-3 meals. And so, all our savings disappear on this one sunny day, robbed by the Turkey government.

At least they let us have the SUN. We were happy again to feel the warmth on our skins and see a clear sky. İt was a good and tiring touring day and our first for more than a week, making us feel at last like we are travellers once again.
