The night of the 4th, we had a big one out.  Chris, Ash, Howie, and Jonny V were off to Bangkok on the 5th.  And on the 6th the girls were heading to Ko Tao and I was going up to Bangkok for my last couple days before returning to the arctic temps of Japan.  

So the 4th was gonna be our last hurrah.

Started out at Haad Yao pub, having a couple of cheeky beers and chatting with Patrick and Jamie, who run the joint.  Then we got lifted to the next level on the buckets...cuz a last night on the island would be far from complete without a bucket session..  And before long, everyone was totally plowed and dancing to the music we had queued up on the ipod.  The place was crankin...it was like we had our own little dance club.  The end of the night left us all kinda scattered here and there.  Chris and Ash got on the mushies at Jack`s and then proceeded to just laugh the night away thru the wee hours of the morn.  Hannah ended up at the waterfall party.  Anna was passed out at Jack`s.  And Howie and Valisa were having their own little party back at the ranch.  Everyone was on full tilt, but everyone had a great night!

The 5th was spent recovering from all the Red Bull and Sangsom.  Woke up sweating and feverish a couple times during the night.  That Thai booze is the devil`s poison...

The guys were off to catch their 4:00 ferry.  But we were gonna have lunch together in Thong Sala first.  They said goodbye  to the girls and we set off for Thong Sala. After lunch, they got their ferry to Samui and then the evening flight to Bangkok.  I couldn`t get a flight until Friday the 6th, so I still had one more day on the island before meeting back up with the fellas in Bangkok on Friday.

After seeing them off, I went up to Haad Rin one last time.  Sunrise beach looks so different during the day.  I`d seen it mostly at night, usually while totally spandangled from the buckets.  It seemed a lot quieter in town, too.  The streets weren`t packed with people and party goers at all.  The big New Year crowd had definitely cleared out.

Got back to Haad Yao and just chilled.  Smoked a spliff with Rhys and watched a movie.  After which I was ready for bed.  Still felt wrecked and sick from the night before.
