Up at 9:00am.

 

Mosey out to see if I can find some sort of breakfast. 

I find a tiny outside café away from the Tourist zone and get a Coffee and Chocolate Croissant (E4.80) and wake up.   I read and enjoy the morning.  Nice.   Before I go, I get a Ham&Cheese Croissant for lunch on the Ferry. (E2.00)

 

I hike up to the top of a small hill on the side of the Tinos harbor and check out the spectacular view of the town and of Syros Island just across the Sea.  Then back to Yiannis and watch the movie “Duplicity” with Julia Roberts. 

 

At 1pm, I check out and hike over to the Ferry Landing.   The Ferry for Piraeus laves at 3pm.  We arrive in Piraeus at 7:45pm.   Along the way I eat the Ham & Cheese Croissant and cookies for lunch. 

 

I hike over to the Metro Station and get 2 24 hour Metro tickets  for (E3.00) each.   I ride up to the Victoria Station and get off and walk over to the Zorbas Hotel.    I pay for 2 nights (E16.00 per night).  Toss my bags and head out to get some diner. 

 

I Metro down to Monistraki Station and head over to my favorite Gyro place and get a yummy Gyro for (E1.80), then get 1 scoop of Choco/Mint Ice Cream for (E1.80).  Ummmmm……. Ice Cream!

I wander around the tourist section for a bit, then head back to Zorbas.

 

I meet my roomies – Dan from Michigan (Just graduated from Film School) and 2 other US Dude Guys… Laugh..

I internet and read and crash out at 11:30pm.
