A cargo plane belonging to Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) crashed in Nairobi after it developed a mechanical fault. The plane carrying Uganda soldiers headed for Mogadishu, crash-landed at Jomo Kinyatta International Airport and later caught fire. This accident happened on Tuesday.

The make of carrier has not been identified yet and no causalities were registered.
