Woke up to find I?d spent more than a weeks rent on drink last night - scary thought! The guy in the convenience store underneath our flat knows its Sunday when I go down in my PJs and tracky top for a huge bottle of coke and a bounty (they haven?t got double deckers over here!)! After being eaten alive Debbie moved out on Monday and Helen moved in, Helen?s really cool, says dude a lot and spends most of her time on the phone to Nik her boyf in the UK!! De?s sister Anne-Marie a crazy New Yorker arrived on Tuesday so we?ve now got 6 people in two rooms um!!! Anne-Marie insisted Helen and me went out with her that night to meet Tim an Attorney from NY that she?d met on the plane, this was to be the start of one major week on the drink!! We finally met Tim in PJOBs after a few false alarms, we also saw Seth then went to the Establishment.

Wednesday morning was my first day at Swiss Re: Health and Life, the offices are absolutely gorgeous, its all open plan with really cool, different shaped meeting rooms, ones an egg shaped capsule and they?re all named using a collection of inspirational words starting with the same letter. There?s also amazing views of the city, I?m in the office support team doing admin. Left Swiss Re at 5pm and went straight to the Establishment to meet the girls, we had several bottles of wine before making our way up to Jackson on George where we had several more bottles of wine and after causing chaos were asked politely where we were going next!!! De took us to O?Malleys in Kings Cross, it?s an Irish Pub where Beau a lovely American guy sings on a Wednesday and Sunday night! To say we livened the place up would be an understatement, within half an hour of our arrival everyone was up dancing and carrying on, by the end of the night Beau knew us all by name and Helen and me had taken some interesting photos (which I will not be putting on the web!)! When it got to 3am we decided it was time to go but because we were having such a great time we redirected the taxi to Scruffy Murphies (you have to be extremely drunk to even go there!) where we continued to dance to a U2 tribute band, I got home slept for an hour and then got up to go back to Swiss Re bit unfortunate really because the Auditors had just arrived from Munich for two days!

After making it through Thursday I went back to the Establishment to meet Seth, the fact that the barman has spoken to me on two separate occasions when I?ve passed him on the street indicates I?m spending too much time in there!! Then all the girls from the flat and Tim arrived, I had to leave at 10.30 though was totally exhausted! Dress down Friday at Swiss Re certainly sorted the ?men? from the ?suits?, anyone can look good in a suit!! Despite the urge to go home and sleep for a week, I stayed behind for free drinks after work with the ?men?, then introduced them to PJOBs!! Spent Saturday catching up on a million e-mails as I hadn?t checked them all week then on Saturday night I shared a huge bottle of mandarin vodka with Helen before staggering with a huge group of equally smeshed people up to PJOBs to watch the FA Cup Final. Haven?t got a clue when or how I got home but spent the entire Sunday in bed and didn?t even get up for coke and a bounty!
