Didn’t go to football after Kerrie’s birthday not that I was hung over, I just really needed a lie in!! I tidied the apartment, went food shopping then its sad to admit but I stuffed my first chicken and made my first Sunday Roast for Kerrie, Lee and Damian – Mam you would have been proud of me, I took a picture to prove it!! Went to Kerrie’s to watch our Sunday night movie, this week we watched Jonny English which was Ok.
Stayed at work until 6pm on Monday waiting for a courier to take Rugby World Cup invites, I also found out about some other Rugby World Cup events!! Kate was off ill this week so Libby and I were able to catch up on lots of work and surfing the net!! Went to the gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night but then unfortunately was unable to go on Thursday… Becca met me out of work and we went for a drink in North Sydney, we bumped into James and Richard Carter the Directors from Adstream, they bought us wine and were a pretty good laugh, they were waiting for a client but were pretty drunk by the time we left and went for a Pizza at Deniros. We got a to Katie’s in Kirribilli where she was having a facial party.
Simon got really drunk and locked himself out of the apartment so had to come to Katie’s for my keys!! It was a really good night, Katie’s going to start her own event organising company which is really exciting! We caught the ferry home at 10.30pm.
Friday was hectic as we had the board meeting, so all the top team were in and the kitchen was taken over by caters. Met Simon after work in Verandah Bar with his colleagues, then we went to Chambers and Europa. We met Chris and went to Industrie where we bumped into Sean and met Becca and Jonno. We all walked to Woolloomooloo and went to the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel where Greg, Kevin and Paul met us shortly followed by Julie, Catrina and Jodie from Greg’s flat.
We then went to the W Hotel and the Tilsbury which I really like, before taking a ‘short walk’ up the steps to the World Bar at Kings Cross. I caught a taxi back to the city with Katie and Paul then walked back home – met Chris Scouser and his mate who were also on their way home! Got up on Saturday morning feeling worse for wear went to the gym then got ready to go to the races. Went round to Kerrie’s and went to the races with Kerrie, Lou Tamsin and ***. Being complete racing novices we lost quite a bit in the first few races but we soon got the hang of it and I actually won some money, didn’t manage to break even though! Went back to the Lord Dudley which was packed, then went to the Paddington Inn for some food, it was also packed! Ended up in the Lightbrigade where we met all the footie lot! Went back, sat up talking for ages and stayed at Kerries. |
