Week 29
Went to football with Kerrie then when we got back we went to the fish markets for fruit and veg it totally lashed down when we tried to walk home – everyone says Australia has great weather but to be honest I haven’t been that impressed yet!

Had another BBQ at Kerries on Sunday night, I’m now all BBQ’d out! Monday was a public holiday so I went to the Gym and Becca and Jonno came round for Lasagne. Spent Tuesday working at 7 then went to the gym. Simon left for Melbourne, I went to the gym first thing on Wednesday morning and did a couple of things in town before going to Mr Stokes house to work on Christine’s Office, where I completely re-arranged everything! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has great views over the harbour. Got a taxi into town and picked up Becca before continuing on to Leichhardt for an Italian. Spoke to Lucy in Melb she’s missing Cockermouth!?! We had a walk round and some food in a nice little Italian (obviously!!) then caught the bus back.

I went to work at the house again on Thursday then went back to the office as things are hectic, managed a trip to the gym when I eventually left the office!

Had to go to the Chinese Consulate on Friday morning which took an age! Called round to see the guys at Adstream whle taking loads of plans to the printers, it was great to see them – we’re going to go out for a drink soon. All my hard work for the Rugby World Cup has paid off… I got a ticket to the Opening Ceremony so at 3.30 I got a taxi to the Kings Wharf by Cargo bar and got on the boat with all the Directors and Clients. It was really good because I got to meet a lot of the people I speak to over the phone! We were taken by bus from Birkenhead point, the atmosphere was amazing, I wandered about outside the stadium with Matthew and Dean. The opening ceremony was great - we had amazing seats, all in one big group. I sat next to Amanda and Sybrandt naturally Seven's Camera Crew kept whirling round all the Seven people!! Mark who trains us for footie was carrying the huge Australian inflatable so I managed to get some good pictures of him! The actual game (Australia v Argentina) wasn’t that exciting but the atmosphere was brilliant! We caught the bus back to Darling Harbour and went to the after party in the Rugby Clubhouse. We were in the private section and all our drinks were free! I recognised at least three people off the tv but spent most of the time talking to Brian O’Donnell who was really nice (he had to be as I’d sorted him out a load of tickets the day before) he recommends a trip to Perth to travel and maybe work for him at ACE! Quite like the idea of going across to Perth – might as well while I’m here! Left there to go to Bungalow 8 which was shut by the time we eventually got there so I got a taxi home!!

Went for Bruch on Saturday at Studio 4 with Simon and Chris, then Chris took drove me all round Watsons Bay, we went to Shark beach which is gorgeous and enclosed by a huge net (hence the name!).
